During this time she has continued to develop her skills and developed a special interest in woman's health covering areas such as menstruation issues, fertility and menopause.
She is an affiliated member of Zita West where she has trained further in fertility issues and IVF support.
Nathalie also has experience in treating cancer patients whilst working for 4 years at the Supportive Therapy Centre at the Kent Canterbury Hospital .
Nathalie took part in a very interesting research led by the oncologist Richard Simcock which was published in the Annals of Oncology (Arix 2012). The research aimed to find out if acupuncture could help patients with chronic xerostomia (dry mouth) following radiotherapy treatment for head and neck cancer. Nathalie gave acupuncture weekly for 8 weeks to a group of patients at the Maidstone hospital. The outcome of the research indicates that acupuncture helped with the symptoms of dry mouth. This was the largest research on xerostomia and acupuncture so far.
She also offers Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture or Beauty Acupuncture which is a great treatment to improve skin tone, circulation, giving a natural healthy glow to the face. Amazing treatment where beauty is treated from the inside out. Try it!
Her hobbies are walking in the countryside, running by the sea, cooking and enjoying new recipies. She has a love for the mountains in summer and winter, and enjoys being with her family and friends.
